How to Play Color Tiles
Color Tiles is a quick browser puzzle built around reading empty lanes. The goal is simple: click a blank space, compare the nearest colored tiles in four directions, and remove matching colors before the timer reaches zero.
Color Tiles rules
Each board starts with colored tiles and blank spaces. When you click a blank space, the game scans upward, downward, left, and right until it finds the nearest colored tile in each direction. If two or more nearest tiles share the same color, those matching tiles are cleared and you earn points.
Best first moves
Start with open lanes where you can clearly see two or more matching colors around a blank space. Corners and dense clusters often look tempting, but the strongest moves usually sit in areas where horizontal and vertical paths are easy to read.
How scoring works
A perfect game clears 200 tiles. Misses cost time, so a high score comes from balancing speed with accuracy. If you are new, focus on two-tile matches first, then look for three-way and four-way clears once the board opens up.
